James Powers, 74 passed away January 26, 2024.  He was born December 31, 1949 in Waxahachie, TX to Carl and Allie Geneva Baker Powers.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

James is survived by son James Allie Neal Jr. of Alvarado, TX, daughter Lisa Overton & husband Rickey of Waxahachie, sister Gina Robertson and husband Tom of St. Louis, MO, four grandchildren Marcus Overton and husband John of Cumby, TX , Christopher Overton of Red Oak, TX, Marisse Salguero and husband Daniel of Waxahachie, TX, and Nick Neal of Venus, TX, four great-grandchildren Vanessa, Enrique, Sophie, Rickey Salguero of Waxahachie, and two great nieces Kristen Hopkins & Kacie Hopkins.
