After a long hard fought battle with Gioblastoma (Brain Cancer) James Rich 62, went to be with the Lord,  August 3, 2018. He was born in Inglewood California May 5, 1956. His parents were Frank & Wanda Rich of Meadville, PA. James proudly served his country in the  United States Air Force for 26 years and retired as Senior Master Sergeant.

He is preceded in death by his father Frank Rich,  sister Cheryl Holder, and father-in-law Duane Deines.

James is survived by his loving  wife of 42 years, Joanne Rich of Ennis, TX, daughter Kristi (Rich) and husband Jerry Slate of Ennis, TX, son Mike Rich of Las Vagas NV,  brother Charlie Poynor and wife Tammy of Bakersfield, CA, Brother-in-law Mike Holder of Humble, TX, mother-in-law Mary Lou Deines of Temple, TX, sisters-in-law Linda Deines of Concordia, MO, Janice Merithew of Muskogee, OK, Susan Koch and husband James of Copenhagen, NY, Amy Lautenschlager and husband Jeff of Hixson, TN, Mary Keeton of Temple, TX, grandchildren Tori Ann, AJ, and Vinny Slate, and many nieces and nephews he loved very much.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018, 6-8:00 PM, Funeral Services will be August 10, 2018 10:30 AM both  at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Brain and Spine Center at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center Houston.
