James Charles Roethler, 79, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away Friday, February 8, 2021.

He was born August 12, 1942, to  Charlie Eddie & Sophie  Roethler, in Iowa.

He married the love of his life, Flora Arlene Day, on November 3, 1983, in Austin, Texas. James spent his working years as Construction Superintendant for McDavitt & Street Construction Company.

James proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his loving wife of  thirty-seven years; Arlene, two  sons; Adam Roethler, Rodney Roethler, three step-sons; Marvin Beckham, James Brent Beckham, Arlen Eugene Beckham, one step-daughter; Virginia Alice Beckham, five grandchildren; and one sister; Joyce Roethler.

A Graveside Service will be held for Mr. Roethler on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 11:00 o'clock in the morning at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas, 75221.
