Obituary

James B. Stoops "PA", 60, of Avalon, TX. passed away peacefully at his home with his family by his side. He was born in on June 26, 1951. James loved to go fishing, hunting, gardening, as well as visiting with friends. He loved and will greatly be missed by his dogs Lippy, Susie, Daisy, and Whiskers. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren. James became an Eagle Scout as a young man. He retired from Owens- Corning after working for them for 32 years. James was preceded in death by his mother Billie Kendall Stoops, and his Nanny Lela Kendall. James is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Margaret Stoops, daughters Brenda Grimes and husband Robert of Waxahachie, Dianna Porter and Doug Tuberville of Italy, Kathy Taylor and Gary Porter of Crystal Beach, TX. sons Donald Ellis and wife Tina of Crandell, William Taylor and wife Amanda of Seagoville. James is also survived by his father James B. Stoops, Sr. of Garland and a sister Sherri and husband Doug Darrell of Poetry, TX, grandchildren Chris Ellis, Nick Porter, Stephanie Cook, Dewayne Stevens, Jake Porter, Alli Porter, Dustin Taylor, Caty Cook, Brittany Taylor, Johnny and Joanne Peace, Corina Cruz, Janet Ornelas, Nathe Cook, Preston Tuberville and great grandchildren Hayden Ellis, Cadence Ellis, Matthew Cook, Christopher Porter, Riley Peace, Ethan Peace, Broghan Peace, Avery Peace and P.J. Riley Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at 7:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 W. 287 Bypass, Waxahachie
