James Hoben Walker, 63, passed away peacefully at home in Red Oak, Texas on
December 20, 2021. He was born in Nocona, Texas on October 4, 1958 to Monte and
Elizabeth Walker.

Hoben was a one-of-a-kind man. He lived a life of devotion to his family and friends. His
life; his rules. Hoben had his own way of doing things and lived by his own moral
compass.

Hoben loved everything outdoors. He was an avid golfer, loved fishing, deer hunting
and was master at the grill.

One thing Hoben loved more than being a dad, was being Pop Pop and he was the best
in the world. His granddaughter Zoee was the air he breathed. He loved her with all his
heart and she loved him the same. They were two peas in a pod and partners in crime.

Hoben is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Sherry Walker, daughter, Jami Walker,
granddaughter, Zoee Walker, parents, Monte and Ellizabeth Walker, brother, John
Walker and wife Gladys, nephews, Kyle Walker and wife Voule, Zachary Walker and
wife Haley, great nephew John Walker and great niece, Kodi Walker.
