Doris Jane Lipsey peacefully went to be with the Lord August 2, 2012 with sweet singing around her bedside. She was loved by all, and her sweet smile and gentle spirit will be missed by many. She was born in Cole Corner, Texas, May 27, 1937 to L.T. and Goldie Rowan. She married Wayne Eugene Lipsey at the age of 14 on July 7, 1951. She is preceded in death by her parents and loving husband of 34 years, W.E. (Eugene) Lipsey. She has left a godly legacy to those still here-her children Virginia Jane Lipsey of Waxahachie, TX, Wayne Eugene Lipsey Jr. and wife Peggy of McKinney, TX, Edwin D'Wayne Lipsey and wife Dawn of Waxahachie, TX, and siblings Paul Rowan, Donna Mossman, & Sara Clemons, and especially the joys of her life, her grandchildren, Steven Rogers, Payton Lipsey, Mandy Lipsey, Easton Lipsey, & Ethan Lipsey. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Sunday August 5, 2012 at Foundation of Life Church located at 515 E. Marvin Avenue, Waxahachie, Texas 75165 with Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 6 p.m. led by her pastor, her son Rev. Edwin Lipsey. Jane will be laid to rest by her family Monday, August 6, 2012 at 10 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery in Hubbard, TX beside the love of her life W.E. Lipsey.
