Janice Billman, 78, passed away Tuesday, September 19, 2023.  She was born February 23, 1945, in Stamford, Texas, to Ewell and Alda Marie (Benham) Maddox.

Janice married the love of her life, Jimmie Don Billman, on September 24, 1960, in Weatherford, Texas. They shared sixty wonderful years together.

Among the things Janice enjoyed were visits with her friends, and cherished any time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

All who knew Janice knew of her love for playing slot machines, and over the years she lovingly became known as the "Slot Machine Queen!"

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Jimmie Don Billman, son Donald Kemp Billman, and grandson David Phillips.

Janice is survived by her children: Bobby Billman and wife Angela of Austin,  Donna Billman of Venus, Becky Van Kuiken and husband Pete of Springtown, Jimmy Billman of Waxahachie, brother; Gary Maddox and wife Cindy of Crowley, sister; Marjorie King of Weatherford, grandchildren: Michelle Gage, Brittany Towry, Jennifer Mott, Hailey Rodgers, Dylan Rodgers, Jessee Billman, Jordan Billman, Blake Billman, Fisher Smith, Nolan Smith, Miles Smith, Marshall Smith, Chloe Billman, 10 great-grandchildren, and beloved in-laws.

Visitation will be held Monday, September 25, 2023, from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home.
