Janis Mathis, 67, passed away November 15, 2010 with her family around her. Janis was born in Waxahachie February 13, 1943 to Raymond Aydelott and Ella McClain. Janis was a very devoted wife and mother, she will be greatly missed by her husband Kenneth Mathis, daughter Kim Mathis Schwartz and husband Jerome, sons Rodney Mathis, Kenny Mathis Jr. Sister Barbara Hopgood, brother Harvey Hopgood, one grandchild Corey Mathis, two great-grandchildren Caysin Mathis, Mason Mathis. Visitation will be 1:00 pm Friday, November 19, 2010 with a Memorial service following at 2:00 pm at Waxahachie Funeral Home.
