IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jason Daniel
Brown
October 16, 1945 – November 8, 2021
Rev. Jason Daniel Brown, 76 years of age, went peacefully home to be with the Lord on November 8, 2021, at the family home in Waxahachie TX. He was born October 16, 1945, in Mobile, Alabama to Jesse & Willie Brown.
Jason married the love of his life, Charlotte, in 1967 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
He devoted not only his heart to Christ, but also his life. He faithfully served the Lord in ministry as a pastor, evangelist, and chalk artist for over fifty years. His love for Scripture was shown by his life-long dedication to memorizing God's Word and sharing the love of Christ with others, not only from the pulpit at church, but in his everyday life. He also enjoyed spending time with family, woodworking, and art.
He is preceded in death by his parents: Jesse & Willie Brown, son; Anthony (Tony) Wayne Brown and sister-in-law; Melba Brown.
He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years; Charlotte Brown, son and daughter-in-law: Mark and Kim Brown of Midlothian, two grandsons: Bradley and Brody Brown, brothers: Charles Brown of Mobile Alabama, Ray Brown (Anne) of North Augusta South Carolina, Vincent Brown (Shirley) of Dothan Alabama, Steve Brown (Marie) of Fairhope Alabama, sisters: Wanda Boyd (Don) of Pearl Mississippi, Joyce Callaghan (Mike) of Richmond California, Janet Bartlett (Randy) of Auburn Alabama, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Graveside service and brief visitation with the family will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Red Oak Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that Memorial donations be made in memory of Jason Brown to Mission Dignity, a ministry that he and Charlotte love deeply.
