Jay Patrick Mount, a beloved husband, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on August 11, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, cherished memories, and a lasting impact on everyone blessed to know him.
Jay was born on July 20, 1978. On April 30, 2023, he married the love of his life, Michelle Mount, in Melissa, Texas. Their marriage was filled with love, laughter, dreams, and the joy of building a life together. Jay and Michelle shared a special bond and were not only husband and wife but also partners in life and in business.
Together, they built their photo booth business, something Jay was incredibly proud of and truly enjoyed. What they created together represented so much of who Jay was—hardworking, fun-loving, creative, and happiest when making memories alongside his wife.
Jay was currently employed with US Foods in Garland, Texas, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
Above all, Jay was a man who loved deeply. He loved serving God, spending time with his family, fishing, listening to music, dogs and working alongside Michelle in the business they created together. Whether he was enjoying a quiet day fishing, playing with his dogs Gigi and Tidus, listening to his favorite songs, serving the Lord, or sharing laughter with the people he loved, Jay appreciated the moments that made life meaningful.
His love for Michelle was an especially beautiful part of his life. The two of them dreamed together, worked together, and built a home, a business, and a life together. Though their time as husband and wife was far too short, the love they shared was deep, genuine, and will remain forever in Michelle's heart.
Jay was preceded in death by his father, Lee Mount, whose memory remained a part of his life and family.
Jay is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Mount; his mother and stepfather, Ginette and Lloyd Dolberg; his sister, Annabelle Wall; his brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Sarajoy Mount; and his beloved nieces and nephews, Makaley, Sister Arden-Marie of the Divine Infant, Anniston, Taegan, Balen, Kellen, Ellery, Innish, Eiley, Finnian, Esca, Isolde Wall, and Engelbert Mount.
Jay will be remembered for his kind heart, his faith, his love for his family, and the happiness he brought into the lives of those around him. His absence leaves a space that can never truly be filled, but the love he gave, the memories he created, and the life he shared with those closest to him will live on.
Jay was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed. His life was a blessing, his memory a treasure, and his love will remain in our hearts forever.
