Jeanne is rejoicing as she is now with her Lord and Savior, Jesus. She was born in Detroit, Michigan October 20, 1942 to Maynard and Alvina Mott. Although she was from Michigan, she spent many years in Texas.  She was a Jr. High and Senior High teacher for 20 years in Ennis Texas.  She loved her family dearly.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 22 years,  Owen Haney.

Jeanne is survived by her daughter Catherine Meads, her husband Phil, and grandsons Parker and Trevor; son Jim Scott, his wife Brooks, and grandchildren Connor and Emma; son Bryan Scott; s tepson Ken Haney, his wife Beth, and grandchildren Elizabeth and Bobby; stepson Kris Haney, his wife Melissa, and grandchildren Bailey and Zach; stepson Kerry Haney, his wife Carmel, and grandchildren Joey, Courtney and Brian; stepdaughter Laura Hoggard, her husband Steve, and grandchildren Kaytie, Nathaniel, Daniel and Abigail; stepson Keith Haney, His wife Edith, and grandchildren Micah, Matthias, Geoffrey and Garrison; stepson Andy Haney; stepson Kevin Haney, his wife Tammy, and grandchildren Michael, Jennifer and Robert; and 3 great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 2-4:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  A Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM, November 25, 2018 at Bristol Baptist Church, 306 Union Hill Rd. Ennis, Texas 75119, Interment will follow at Bristol Cemetery.
