Jeffery Scott, 45, passed away after a lengthy battle with a brain cancer in Irving, Texas, November 2, 2013. He was born February 26, 1968, in Irving, Texas to Jerry and Virginia Scott. Jeffery proudly served his country for four years in the United States Marines. He served in Desert Storm, Desert Shield, and was one of the Marines that took over Kuwait. He is survived by his step-father and mother Wayne and Virginia Harrison, 3 children Marlee, Nathan, Sydie, Grandmother Elizabeth Nanson, brother Kevin Barnes, 3 aunts Dorthy Diskerson, Janet McSherry, Judy Rodgers 1 uncle Jack Pickett, 1 niece Lauren Barnes,1 nephew Payton Barnes. Graveside Service with full Military Honors will be held Saturday November 9, 2013 at 2 PM at Lakeview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
