Jimmie Billman, 77, passed away December 22, 2020.  He was born June 12, 1943 in Weatherford, Texas to Bill and Cleta Billman.

Jimmie married the love of his life, Janice Maddox, on September 24, 1960 in Weatherford, Texas.

He retired after fifty years from Chapman-Trinity Construction Company.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

Jimmie's hobbies included knife collecting, sewing, woodworking and tinkering in his garage.

Jimmie enjoyed his family and the family gatherings at their home in Red Oak.

Jimmie is preceded in death by his parents, a son; Donald Kemp Billman, a grandson; David Phillips and one sister; Christine Bullard.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Janice Marie Billman, two sons; Bobby Billman and wife; Angela of Austin, Texas, Jimmy Billman of Waxahachie, Texas, two daughters; Donna K. Billman of Venus, Texas and Becky Van Kuiken and husband Pete of Springtown, Texas, nine grandchildren; Michelle Gage, Brittany Towry, Jennifer Mott, Hailey Rodgers, Dylan Rodgers, Jessee Billman, Jordan Billman, Blake Billman and Chloe Billman, and eight great-grandchildren, three brothers; Joe Billman of Fort Worth, Texas, Bob Billman of Horseshoe Bend, Texas, Gary Billman of Fort Worth, Texas, and three sisters; Wandalene Phillips of Aledo, Texas, Maxene Shields of North Richland Hills, Texas, and Darlene Francis of Fort Worth, Texas.

Visitation will be Sunday, December 27, from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 West Highway 287 By-Pass, Waxahachie, Texas 75165.
