Jimmie Nannette Lucas Feb. 16, 1930 to Aug. 27, 2010 Jimmie Nannett Hayes was born into the world in Dallas, Tx. On February 16, 1930 to Nannie Ida and Jim Hayes. She had 3 brothers and 1 sister. She is survived by Robert Hayes of Dallas and George "Sonny" Carpenter of Cedar Hill, Tx. Preceding her in death were Arthur Hedspeth and Rosie Simmons both of Dallas, Tx. On July 3, 1945 she married her life long love, Charlie Harlan Lucas. Together they had 4 children: Charlie Lucas of Mabank, Peggy Smith of Maypearl, Robert Lucas of Dallas, Lonnie Lucas of Venus. The children and their adored spouses, Ann Lucas, Wayne Smith, and Kathy Lucas gave them 10 grandchildren; Ricky and Randy Lucas, Tricia Harris, Jennifer Krnavek, Robert Lucas, Jr., Anecia Nelms, Cheryl Lucas, John Ard, Pricilla and Nannette Lucas. From the grandchildren came 24 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-granddaughter. Nannie and Papa lived, laughed, and loved surrounded by their beloved children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren until our darling Papa passed away on March 2, 2005. Our cherished, wonderful Mon and Nannie died on August 27, 2010 surrounded by her family and caregivers at Red Oak Health and Rehabilition Center
