Eugenio "Joe" Ramos, 84, passed away June 18, 2012. He was born in Spur, Texas, November15, 1927 to Jose and Juanita Ramos. Joe joined the Air Force and served 3 years. While he was in Germany Joe met and married the love of his life, Erika Harter, on March 4, 1952. After finishing his tour of duty in the Air Force he joined the US Army and served another 20 years. Joe's educational achievements include a degree in divinity and in law. Joe is survived by and will be greatly missed by his loving wife of 60 years Erika Ramos, a brother Louis Garcia, a sister Ofelia Esparza, many nephews and nieces including a special nephew & niece Phillip and Diana Downs, and two loving pets Little Girl, and Muffin. There will be a visitation Monday June 25, 2012, 6-8:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home, with interment Tuesday June 26, 2012 10 AM at Lakeview Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
