John Arevalo, 66, passed away at home May 25, 2023.  He was born August 5, 1956 in Evanston, Illinois to Juan and Sonora Arevalo. He enjoyed fishing, riding around in his boat, and mostly spending time outdoors with his family listening to music.

John is preceded in death by father Juan F Arevalo, father, Reymond Martinez, brothers Samuel Arevalo, Alfred Arevalo.

John is survived by his loving  wife  of 22 years Mary Arevalo, mother Sonora Martinez, brothers Michael Martinez, Albert Arevalo, sisters Victoria Arevalo, Irene Arevalo-Soto, Melissa Arevalo, sons: John F. Arevalo III and wife Cynthia, Jeremy Arevalo and wife Erika, Jacob Arevalo, daughter Jennifer Ocanas and husband Aristeo, sixteen grandkids and five great grandkids.

His best side kicks Nikki, Nala, Brutus, and Louie the Tortoise.

A Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM, June 3, 2023 at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Memorial Service will began at 4:00 PM.
