John C. Miller, 71, passed away at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Dallas, Texas February 25, 1944 to J.C. and Dorothy Miller. John had been a brick layer for over 40 years building all over Ellis County and surrounding areas. John is preceded in death by his parents J.C. & Dorothy Miller, father-in-law John Preston Sills, and sister-in-law Betty Ann Sills. John is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Alyne Lenell Miller, sons Terry Wayne Miller, John Mark Miller, Richard Dwayne Miller, mother-in-law Alyne Elizabeth Sills, brother-in-law James Everett Sills, daughter/granddaughter Shawntel Chamberland and husband Aaron,grandchildren Heather Miller-Tyner, Nichole Miller-Martinez, John David Miller, great-grandchildren Shawn Miller, Audrey Chamberland, Hunter Chamberland, Everett Chamberland, Eric Tyner, Hannah Tyner, Cadance Tyner, Haylei Martinez, Andrew Martinez, brothers Jack Miller, Victor Miller, sister Anita Mason, and many other family and a host of friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2015 6-8:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home.
