John Gabriel Villarreal, 40, passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side on January the 26, 2025. He was born to Roderick and Diana Villarreal on July 26,1984 in Dallas, Texas.

John grew up in Waxahachie. He loved to hang out with his older brother Rod. And loved to give his younger brother, Anthony, hell. He loved everyone he met. John believed he was a ladies' man. No matter who it was or how long it had been since he seen you, he had a hug for everyone. John had the heart of an angel. He loved to rock out and sing loud to all his favorite songs. John would make you laugh out loud with his crazy, wild personality.  He welcomed all conversations and prayers. John loved to be around his family laughing, reminiscing and clowning, about all the old times. John was the roast master, no one could trash talk better than him. He loved his parents, brothers, and daughter as much as he loved life.

John is preceded in death by his father Roderick Lucio Villarreal, grandparents Amador and Clara Escobar, uncle Richard Albert Villarreal, Cousins Alex Villarreal and Alisa Villarreal.

John is survived by his mother, Diana Villarreal, daughter Emersyn Takacs-Villarreal, grandparents Santos Villarreal and Sara Salas brothers Rod Escobar and wife Melissa, Anthony Villarreal and wife Cindy, nephews Roderick Escobar Jr, Dominick Escobar, Samuel Escobar and niece Armani Villarreal.

There will be a visitation on Wednesday January the 29th from 6pm-8pm at the Waxahachie Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on January the 30th at 10 am, also at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at the Waxahachie City Cemetery.
