Johnny Alexander, 69,  passed away at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Pittsburgh, Texas November 7, 1948 to Carlton and Jessie Barbee Alexander.

Johnny proudly served his country in the United States Marines, where he received two Purple Hearts. After the military he worked for the Texas Utilities, and retired in 1992.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Kathleen Alexander, son Jason Alexander, daughter Angela Gilmore, grandchildren Sgt. Christopher Gilmore, Sheila Gilmore, William Gilmore, Aidan Alexander, Jesse Alexander.

Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Monday, October 16, 2017.   Funeral Service will be 12:00  Noon, Tuesday, October 17, 2017  both at Waxahachie Funeral Home with interment following at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
