IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Joyce Evanell
Lollar
October 18, 1940 – March 10, 2022
Joyce Lollar, 81, passed away peacefully March 10, 2022. She was born October 18, 1940, in Paris, Texas to Abner and Hattie May Borden. She always loved spending time with her four-legged family member, Daisy. She also loved to fish, gather with family and friends, attend church events, and check out garage sales. She never met a stranger and loved to make people laugh by telling lots of jokes and playing pranks, which made her waitressing career a perfect fit for her personality. Joyce was a selfless caretaker who loved her family and never hesitated to be there for any of them in a time of need. Despite the trials and tribulations of life, her strong faith and relationship with the Lord carried her through and allowed her to bring light to everyone around her. Though she will be missed by many, they are comforted knowing she is rejoicing in Heaven alongside other loved ones.
She is preceded in death by her parents Abner and Hattie May, son Gary Lollar, daughter Debbie Lynch, siblings Meathel, Cecil, Elmer Dee, and Velma, and grandson Randy Lynch Jr.
Joyce is survived by sons; Gene Lollar, wife Tanya and Jimmy Lollar, wife Charla, grandchildren; Chris Lollar, Ashley Lynch, Steven Lollar, Katrina Hall, Eric Lynch, Jimmy Lollar Jr., Brittany Lollar, and Jordan Lollar, 9 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Chris Lollar, Steven Lollar, Eric Lynch, Jimmy Lollar Jr., Charlie Lollar, and Jamison Lynch.
A Memorial Service officiated by Tammy Hawk will be held at 2:00 PM, March 16, 2022, at Waxahachie Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest following the service at Waxahachie City Cemetery. Her church family, Church on the Hill will provide food and a time of fellowship at the Ellis County Women's Building located at 407 West Jefferson St. Waxahachie, Tx 75165.
