Joyce Laverne McCrary was born August 31, 1930, in Franklin, TX. To Cecil and Clara Lou Hodge. Joyce left this world on June 25, 2012 at her home in Italy, TX. Leaving behind her son Mark McCrary and wife Janet also of Italy, TX. Joyce also left behind a daughter-in-law Betty McCrary, two brothers Neil & wife Audrey Hodge, Jim & wife Deloris Hodge. Grandchildren Eric McCrary, Kristy & Kris Langly, Christopher & Alishia McCrary, Josh McCrary, Matt McCrary, great-grandchildren Natalie & Erin Langley, McKenna & Mason McCrary Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, her husband T.J. (Tim) McCrary Two sons Kenny Doty, Newman McCrary, one daughter Joyce (Sissy) Grimes. two granddaughters Kathy & Nikki Grimes, a sister Sheryl Hodge, a brother C.H. Hodge. Joyce was a nurse in Ellis County for many years before Retirement. She enjoyed old movies, working on her computer and working on the family genealogy. Visitation will be Wednesday, 6-8:00PM, June 27, 2012, at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Service will be Thursday 10 AM, June 28, 2012 at Waxahachie Funeral Home with interment following at Laurel Land Cemetery, Dallas, Texas.
