March 16, 1945 – July 16, 2023
Juan Camarillo Jr, of Waxahachie, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2023, after a brief battle with Multiple Myeloma. Juan was born March 16, 1945, in Houston, Texas to Juan Gomez Camarillo Sr and Felieitas (Flores) Camarillo.
Juan was the oldest of five children, when he was 13 he started working on a farm in order to make a little money to help provide for his family. When he was in his early 20s he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. It was later in life (1985) when he met the love of his life Darlene and decided to settle down and start a family. Juan had a few different occupations before retiring from Southern Grouts & Mortars. Juan enjoyed being outdoors, he loved fishing, taking long walks, barbequing and mowing the lawn.
Juan is proceeded in death by the love of his life Darlene Dell Randolph, his parents Juan and Felieitas, brother's, Guadalupe Camarillo, Domingo Camarillo, and Julius Camarillo. He is survived by wife Cathy Camarillo; daughters, Stella Brannon and husband Matthew; and Amanda (Mandie) Eich and husband Joe; and son Mark Anderson and significant other Ashely Williams; and his nine grandchildren, Harley, Morgan and Angelica Brannon; Joey, Austin and James Eich; and Vanessa, Alec and Skylar Anderson. He is also survived by his sister Maria (Mary) Camarillo; and numerous nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank Dr.Binu Nair and his staff with the Charles A Simmons Cancer Center, Baylor Scott and White of Waxahachie, the nurses at Focus Care and Bristol Hospice for the comfort and care provided to Juan, as well as everyone who offered prayer and support.
A private memorial service for family and close friends will be held Friday, July 21, 2023, at 12 p.m. at The Cowboy Church of Ellis County. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to The Cowboy Church of Ellis County.
