Judy Kay Slaughter Cashion November 26, 1957 - March 16, 2010 Judy K. Slaughter Cashion, 52 passed away at home March 16, 2010. She was born November 26, 1957, in Forth Worth, Texas, to Jimmy and Virdie Slaughter. Judy has lived most of her life in Ellis County. She graduated from Waxahachie High School in 1976 and obtained her LVN License from Navarro College. Judy is preceded in death by her husband, and father. She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her daughter Marjorie (Mertz) Hernandez of Midlothian, sons Charles Mertz of Red Oak, Clayton Mertz of Richardson, mother Virdie Slaughter, 11 grandchildren Dakota Scott, Nicholas Hernandez, Andrew Hernandez, Francine Mertz, Nathan Bigham, Hunter Bigham, Arabella Mertz, Klarissa Donovan, Michaela Donovan, Hayden Donovan, Maddison Donovan, sister Sherry (Slaughter) Moon, brothers Jimmy Slaughter, Daniel Slaughter. Visitation will be Friday March 19, 2010 6-8:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Funeral service will Saturday March 20, 2010 2:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home, with interment at Red Oak Cemetery.
