69-year-old Judy Kay Groth of Red Oak, TX passed away May 25th at Baylor Scott White hospital in   Dallas, after a lengthy illness.

A memorial service honoring her life will be held at 1:30 PM June 2nd at Waxahachie Funeral Home in Waxahachie, TX.

Judy is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Groth, Red Oak, TX, her son Gary Lee Bankston (Brittany), Sherman TX, her daughter Lara Johnson, Dallas, TX, grandsons, Hunter Woolery, Tristian Bankston, Hayden Johnson and granddaughters Aryris Bankston and Maddix Bankston.  Judy was preceded in death by her loving parents Harry and Edie Rollins.

Judy was born September 11 ^th 1951 in Indiana. She was adopted by her loving parents Harry and Edie Rollins. Her father was an aerospace engineer and they moved to California for his job when Judy was young. She enjoyed figure skating, horseback riding, dance lessons and the sunny beaches of southern California growing up.

After graduating she was married and moved northeast Tx where she had two children, Gary Lee and Lara.  She was later divorced and remarried Jeffrey Groth on July 4 ^th 1981. They lived in Red Oak TX for nearly 40 years.  Judy worked many years as an executive secretary for corporate real estate and law firms in Dallas. She faced many hospital stays in her life due to the health issues created by hereditary circulation decease. But she would bounce back and go right back to work again.  She loved seeing her children and grand children and caring for her many dogs.  She will be missed by those who knew her.

To honor Judy's life time love for dogs and cats, memorials may be given to the Ellis County SPCA in care of 577 Pratt Rd. Red Oak TX.  75154
