June Cowart Eiland, 90, of Midlothian, Texas passed away Tuesday, June 21, at Baylor, Scott & White Hospital in Waxahachie, Texas.

She was born June 1, 1932 to Lenville Milda Cowart and Ruth Ann (Johnson) Cowart in Houston, Texas.

She married the love of her life, Charles Eiland, in 1950, and together they had a son; David, and daughter; Pamela.

June's career was spent in the banking industry, where she was employed by 1st City National Bank in Houston, Texas for over forty years.

She loved the Lord and enjoyed being involved in her church. She also enjoyed sewing, elder care and playing the piano.

June is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, brothers: Gilbert (Gib) Cowart, Curtis Cowart, sisters: Anne Bennett Dirlam, and Mary Lou Savage.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: David & Nannette Eiland, and daughter and son-in-law: Pamela & Terry Aldrich, grandchildren: Coleman & Elysia Aldrich, Alyssa Aldrich, Bethany & Jeremiah Feicht, Delayna Aldrich, Luke Eiland, Hannah Eiland, Caleb Eiland, Andrew & Tracy Eiland, Shannon Eiland; great grandchildren: Gabriel Aldrich, Kaden Aldrich, William Aldrich, Hannah Garrett, Grady Feicht, Brooke Feicht, Grace Feicht, Hudson Feicht, Ariella Aldrich, Tristan Eiland, and Troy Eiland.

Funeral service will be held Monday, June 27, 2022, at 10:00 o'clock in the morning at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 West Highway 287 By-Pass, Waxahachie, Texas. Interment will follow at Sardis Cemetery, 6101 Honeysuckle Road, Midlothian, Texas.
