Obituary

Karl Rosenberger passed away February 27, 2014 at the age of 75. He was born in Bellevue, PA, April 7, 1938, to Karl and Margaret Rosenberger. He proudly served his country as a 1st lieutenant in the United States Army including being called back from reserves to serve during the Berlin Crisis. Karl married the love of his life, Jacqueline, on August 6, 1966. Karl graduated with a BA and MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. He earned a CPA and was Treasurer for two corporations before going into private practice. Karl was instrumental in the 70's in the initial utilization of computers to manage the financial tracking and reporting for the 2 corporations he lead. Later in his career, he wrote articles reviewing various business accounting software packages for professional journals. The most important thing that Karl would want to be remembered for, is his love of the Lord. He served in many churches, as a board member, preacher, teacher, but most of all he shared his faith and love of God with his children and grandchildren. He is remembered by his family as a consistent man of prayer. Karl is survived by Jackie Rosenberger, his loving wife of 47 years, his two sons, Scott and Todd Rosenberger, all of Waxahachie. Scott is married to Larna Rosenberger and together they have two children, Jordan, a junior at East Texas Baptist University and Jason, a senior at Global High School. A Memorial Service will be held 3:00 PM, Sunday, March 2, 2014 at Waxahachie Bible Church, 621 Grand St. in Waxahachie. Please sign online guestbook at www.waxahachiefuneralhome.com
