Kenneth Langford (85 yrs) was born in Quanah, Texas December 20,1940. He passed away on Aug. 18, 2026 at home surrounded by his family.

Kenneth graduated from Quanah High School the class of 1958-1959. He later pursued his career in law enforcement and became a Patrolman at Snyder PD from 1966-1967 (13 mo) Later moving to Waxahachie he continued his law enforcement career at Waxa. P D. His journey started on Dec. 12, 1970 and he worked his way thru the ranks of Patrolman Lieutenant and then Captain. He retired from Waxa. PD Aug. 31- 2001. After retiring Kenneth worked at Waxa ISD in transportation and later was the Security for Waxa ISD schools.

Kenneth will be missed by his family. But we are getting our comfort and strength from our Lord Jesus Christ knowing that he is no longer in pain or suffering and that he is in the arms of Jesus.

Kenneth's life will be celebrated Saturday August 22, 2026 at 10 AM at Waxahachie Funeral Home followed by graveside at Waxahachie City Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, August 21, 2026 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents, Cecil & Ethel Langford, brothers Calvin, James Stanley, Mutt & Jeff Langford, sisters Eva Ward & Lois Williams, son Patrick Gene Langford.

Left to honor his memory are his loving wife of 53 years, Alicia Langford, daughters and husbands Lesa & Jeff Coe of Euless, TX, Angelica & Ron Brown from Waxahachie, Diana & Van Franks from Midlothian. Grandchildren Lacy, Katie, Troy, Mercedes, Ty, Tanner and two greatgrandchild Tré, & Pippin
