Laura Bates went to her heavenly home at the age of 71.  She was born July 26, 1953 in San Antonio, TX to Rexford and Carmen Crouch.  Laura   was a faithful member of the Living Hope Church of the Nazarene. In her spare time she loved to crochet,   enjoyed sewing, and baking. Her biggest project was rescuing dogs, she didn't like seeing homeless dogs.

Laura is preceded in death by her husband Donny Bates, father Rexford Wayne Crouch Sr. mother Carmen Alejandria Sotomayor, sisters Billie Oats & Lynda Brooks, nephews Christopher Oats, & David Brooks Jr.

Left to honor her memory are her sister Cheryl Rowan, brother Rexford Wayne Crouch Jr., brother-in-law David Brooks, niece Lacie Rowan, nephews Jesse Rowan, & Ben Rowan, niece Amber Baker and husband Mark, 3 great nephews, 1 great niece, and many friends.
