Our beloved mother, Laura Deann Cobb, sadly passed away on April 15, 2024 at her home of over 20 years in Maypearl, Texas. Laura was born on May 16, 1978 and was 45 years old at the time of her passing.

She was proceeded in death by her grandparents Loretta and Pat Embrey, Jeff Davis and Mary Lou Cobb, and her father Jeff Akin Cobb. Laura is survived by her three Children, Destiney Crow, Jacob Overdirth and Emily Overdirth. Mother, Carla Cobb, Brothers Greg and Eric Cobb, Sister in laws Aireal and Heather Cobb, daughter's fiance Matthew Dugger, and 2 Grandsons, Lyndall Crow and Julian Dugger. She also has many beloved nieces and nephews, aunts, and cousins who will miss her greatly.

Laura was a much loved member of her community as well and had many years of service to Ellis county, where so many coworkers and friends now feel her loss. She enjoyed spending time in the garden, and at the lake with her family. Laura loved music, and to sit on the front porch sipping coffee, talking to loved ones. She was a bright light in the lives of anyone who knew her and will be very sorely missed.
