Obituary
Laura Ellen Mitchell was born in Waxahachie, TX on August 1, 1920 and passed away on May 19, 2016 at the age of 95.
She was preceded in death by her parents Casey McCarter and Bessie
McCarter Warren,stepfather Lowell Warren and her daughter Mary Bond. She is survived by granddaughter Noel Schultz
and great grandchildren Casey and Dylan Miles.
Laura lived in San Diego, California for many years and was employed at General Dynamics for 27 years. For the past ten years, Laura was a resident at Pleasant Manor Nursing Home in Waxahachie. She enjoyed reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, arts and crafts and loved to play bingo.
Laura will be greatly missed by her friends and fellow residents of Pleasant Manor especially Ms. Zela Nash and Gary Fuller as well as the staff members, her sister in law Darlene Warren and her friend and advocate Dee Dacey.
