Lavonne Lowe, better known as Rita, went to her heavenly home on Saturday, June 8th, 2024. She was born to Clifford and Minnie Murray on July 18th, 1937.

Rita was a devoted caretaker and mother. Not only to her kids but many more in her home daycare. She was very selfless and always thinking of others above her own needs right until the end. She did not hide the fact that she was spoiled rotten and that she was her daddy's favorite. Rita was feisty and strong willed, but full of God's love.

Rita is preceded in death by her sisters Donitta Stowers, Dorma Richardson, Evelyn Ambuehl, Norma Freeman, brothers Bill Murray, Joe Murray, and J.D, Murray.

She is survived by her sisters Yvonne Shephard, Susan McKinney, son Edward Lowe, daughter, Darla Lowe, grandsons, Matthew Lowe and Justin Lowe.

A visitation will be held at the Waxahachie Funeral Home on Thursday, June the 13th, from 9am to 11am. A graveside service will follow at the Red Oak Cemetery.
