Leopoldo Martinez, Jr, 76, of Waxahachie, Texas passed away December 24, 2022. He was born December 14, 1946, in Alamo, Texas to Leopoldo & Julia Martinez, Sr.

He retired five years ago and enjoyed listening to music, watching westerns like Gunsmoke, and Tom & Jerry.

Leopoldo married the love of his life, Rosalina, December 31, 1981.

He is preceded in death by his son Luis E. Villarreal, his parents, two brothers: Manuel Martinez, Baldemar Martinez, and one sister Lupe Rodriguez.

Left to honor his memory is his loving wife of forty years, Rosalinda, daughter Liza Martinez, four sons: Julio O. Villarreal, James & Stephanie Martinez, Alfredo & Tonya Martinez, Leopoldo & Maria Martinez, III, daughter-in-law Rachael Villarreal, three sisters: Carmen Perez, Marie Aguller, Aurora Reyes, twenty-six grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.
