L.K. Whitman  71, of Dallas, Texas passed away October 4, 2020.  He was born July 21, 1949 in Henderson, Texas to  M.K. Whitman & Margaret English Whitman. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister; Willie Fay Whitman of Monahans, Texas.

He is survived by three sisters; Lovelle Weston of Dallas, Texas, Ona Lewis of Denver, Colorado, Doris Whitman of Dallas, Texas,  two brothers; Kenneth Whitman of Dallas, Texas and Larry Whitman of Dallas, Texas, an aunt; June Kay Cartwright of Dallas, Texas, and two uncles; Robert Weston of Dallas, Texas and Kerry Weston of Dallas, Texas.

There were two things L.K. especially enjoyed;  watching the Chicago Bears play football and scrapbooking.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 12, 2020 at 7:00 pm at Shiloh Baptist Church in Monahans, Texas. A funeral service will be held Tuesday October 13, 2020 at 1:00pm at Shiloh Baptist Church in Monahans, Texas. Interment will be at Monahans Memorial Cemetery in Monahans, Texas.
