Lois Houghton 96, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.  She was born March 30, 1927 in Des Moines, IA. To Art and Tishia Atkinson.

Lois retired from W.L. Gore & Associates after Twenty-two years.  She enjoyed cross stitching and baking, but her favorite past time was spending time with family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Calvin Houghton Sr. daughter Catherine, brothers & sisters Kenneth, Art, Richard, Eva. Grace, Bernice, Wrethel

Lois is survived by her son James Houghton and wife Karen,  daughter La Nae  Todd, son Calvin Houghton II and wife Suharti, sister Barbara Roberts and husband Ed, sisters-in-law Aloha Atkinson and Wilma Atkinson, grandchildren Jennifer, Cameron, Ann & Paul, great-grandchildren Jackson and Cayden and many loved nieces & Nephews.

A Visitation will be held 11 AM, Thursday,  February 1, 2024 at Waxahachie Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at 1:30 PM at Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery.
