Lona Mae Dunlap, 91, passed away on Feb. 6, 2011 with her family at her side. She was born in Waxahachie, Tx. on Oct. 5, 1919 to Walter and Rosa Ellison Childress. Lona is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and son William Robert Lyon. She is survived by daughters Joy Lafern Hirsch, Linda Gail Ray, Alice Faye Gladney, Doris Marie Brogdon and Rosa Jalene Martin, sons Marvin Ray Lyon, Edwin Kenner Lyon, and Denver Burel Dunlap, sister Eva Alene Rojek, 22 Grandchildren, 31 Great Grandchildren, 20 Great- Great Grandchildren. Visition will be Wed, Feb 9 from 6-8 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Services will be Thurs. Feb 10 at 12:00 (noon) at Waxahachie Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at DFW National Cemetery.
