Lora Hazel Holifield, 89 years of age,  passed away peacefully at home in Ferris , Texas on October 28, 2021. She was born in DeKalb County Alabama on August 30,1932 to Thomas & Lora (Adams) Mountain.

She worked for DuPont in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and medically retired after eighteen years of service.

Lora is preceded in death by her husband; Odis Odell Holifield, her son; Thomas Alan Holifield, granddaughter; Rachel Anette Holifield and great grandson; Anthony John Mearns.

Lora is survived by her daughter; Sharon Lynn Holifield Duncan, her son; Walter Norman Holifield and his wife; Jacqueline Taylor Holifield, grandchildren: Lewis Crumley and his wife; Tammy, Kelley Duncan, Christie Duncan, Melanie Yoho Holifield and her husband; Joshua Yoho, Lewis Crumley IV, Grace Crumley, Emily Crumley, great grandchildren: Jerome Archer, Dayna Yoho Beck and her husband; Dylan Yoho, great great grandchildren: Joshua Yoho and Paisley Yoho of  Lampasas County Tx., David Holifield and his wife; Roseanna Garner Holifield, Justin Blake Odis Holifield, Aaliyah Marie Holifield, and Mia Alexas Marie Holifield.

A Memorial Service will be held 10:00 AM. November 13, 2021 at Waxahachie Funeral Home.
