Mae Jean Atkins, 80, passed away October 28, 2015. She was born January 18, 1935 in Moody, Texas to John and Bessie Porter. Mae Jean is preceded in death by her parents, husband William Carrol Atkins, son-in-law Jimmie, grandchild Keith Shimpaugh, great grandchildren Ian Hawkins, Savannah Hawkins. Mae Jean is survived by sons Richard Calabria and wife Cheryl of Maryland, Eugene Calabria and wife Rita of Waxahachie, TX, Philip Calabria of Las Cruces, NM, daughters Phyllis Atkins of Las Cruces, NM, Frances Harris and husband Terry of Waxahachie, TX, Carolyn Powell and husband Ed of Hillsboro, TX, Sisters Johnny Ruth Ivy, Frances Jeske, brothers Preston Tindell, Joe Ed Tindell, Everett Alan Tindell, 15 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday, November 2, 2015, 6-8:00 PM at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, November 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Waxahachie Funeral Home.
