Maggie Lue Clark Lemons was born in Arkansas to Jewel and Minnie Clark on February 1st, 1938.She passed away October 30, 2026, in Waxahachie, Texas.

Maggie was the oldest of eleven children and often called herself the "leader of the pack" or the "assistant mom". She spent her childhood in Arkansas where she graduated from Weiner High School at the age of 16. Next, she went to nursing school in Memphis and received her Registered Nursing degree at the age of 18. She was a Registered Nurse for 50 years. Maggie worked as a nurse in Colorado, Alaska, Oklahoma and Illinois. Maggie was well known for her sewing and quilting abilities and made school clothes for her 4 children. After retirement, she made an abundance of quilts, aprons, purses, totes, placemats, teddy bears and many other treasures for all of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jewel & Minnie Clark, her loving husband of 57 years, Bill Lemons, daughter, Renee Lemons, and 7 of her siblings, Tiny, Ernie, Joanne, Finis, Bill, Paul and Larry.

Maggie is survived by 3 children, DoAnna Millican (Joe), Jeff Lemons (Debbi), and Kara Walker (LeVaughn); her 7 grandchildren, Adrienne Hausler (Shale), Damon Millican (Jules), Mikala Taylor (Zach), Alex Goodwin (Jessica), Jami Atler (Hilary), Laci Lemons, and Jessa Lemons; her 7 great-grandchildren, Rylee Hausler, Mason Burks, Charleigh Burks, Jaxson Goodwin, Kenna Taylor, Maggie Hausler and Atreaus Goodwin and 3 of her siblings Janit Wood, Bob Clark, and Bo Clark. Maggie's family is planning a Memorial Service to be held in Cortez, Colorado during the summer of 2027.
