November 16, 1978 - April 19, 2017

On Easter Sunday, Virginia Magdalena Martinez, began along the path on her journey to glory. She passed to be with Jesus on April 19, 2017. She was known and loved by all as Maggie. Born on the Island - BOI November 16, 1978 in Galveston, TX to Rev. Rogelio and Virginia Martinez. After receiving her bachelor of Science in Nursing, RN she dedicated her life to loving families and babies in Neonatal Intensive Care Units.

Maggie is survived by her parents; siblings, U.S. Army Veteran Benjamin A. Martinez (Tony), Dr. Silvia E. Martinez, Rev. Rogelio Martinez, Jr.; her Betrothed R. Scott Jones, and lovely step-daughters, Allison and Ryann Jones.

There will be a visitation 6:00 pm. Friday, April 21, 2017 with a Service at 7:00 pm at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Saturday, April 22, 2017 there will be a visitation a 10:00 am., a Tribute at 11:00 am. with an interment following at the Waxahachie City Cemetery and "See You at the Seashore" casual reception at Primera Iglesia Bautista Fellowship Hall.
