Margaret Stoops, 76, years of age, passed away peacefully at home, with her family by her side on Wednesday, September 28, 2022.

Granny, as she was known to many was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved to garden, crochet, and go to the casino. She will be missed by her four dogs: Bella, Pearl, Charlie and Tippy.

She is survived by her children, Donald Ellis, Brenda Grimes and husband Robert, Dianna Porter and husband Doug Turbeville, William Taylor and wife Amanda, Kathy Taylor and husband Don Porter; grandkids: Chris Ellis, Nicholas Porter and wife Corina Cruz, Jake Porter and wife Andrea, Alli Shinpaugh and husband Gus, Stephanie Cook, Caty Davis and husband Graham, Brittney Taylor and husband Brian Luna, Dustin Taylor and wife Laura, Duane Stevens and Heidi, Prestyn Turbeville, Matt Turbeville and wife Lindsey; great grandkids: Cadence Ellis, Hayden Ellis, Matty Cook, CJ Cook, Emma Taylor, Hunter Arriaga, Zaida Porter, Rosalie Porter, Kasen Davis, Blake Davis, Witten Davis, Dillon, Dalton , Lanna Stevens, Christopher Porter, and Rigden Turbeville.
