Marie Decker, 88, of Waxahachie, Texas, passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side. She was born January 20, 1932 in Urania, Louisiana to George and Lottie Abrams.

She married the love of her life, Charles Decker on April 20, 1956. Marie worked for LTV for thirteen years.Charles and Marie's favorite pastime was traveling throughout the country in their Recreational Vehicle; managing to visit forty-eight states in the union, as well as five provinces in Canada. Lifelong, treasured, family memories were made during those travels.

She is preceded in death by one sister; Anne Abrams, two brothers; James Abrams, & Johnny Abrams.

Marie is survived by her husband of 64 years, Charles Decker, one son; Karl Decker and his wife Davica of Austin TX, step-daughter; Peggy Meador, one sister; Goldie Vaughan, of Arlington, TX, one brother; Bobby Abrams of Louisiana, nieces; Linda Patterson & Carol Anne Oldham, as well as five nieces and nine nephews.

A Graveside service will be held at 11:15 AM, Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
