Marie Patterson May 23, 1925 - 4-29-2013 Marie Patterson, 87, passed away April 29, 2013. She was born May 23, 1925 in Rusk County, Texas to John and Effie Washburn. Marie worked at the Cedar Hill Dairy Queen for many years. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters & three brothers and a great granddaughter. Marie is survived by and will be greatly missed by her son Thomas Whiteley and wife Carolyn of Red Oak, Texas, daughters Diane Richards of Richland, Texas, Janis Maggard of Red Oak, Texas, An adopted Home Health Aid Martha Andrade, five grandchildren Jennifer Guerrero, Timothy Whiteley, Jason Whiteley, Donnie Maggard, Joyce Moro, Three great-grandsons, Seven great granddaughters. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 2, 2013, 2PM at Lone Star Cowboy Church 1011 East Ovilla Road, Red Oak, Texas. Arrangements are under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
