Marsha Kay Brothers Brown, 69, of Waxahachie went to be with her Lord Jesus and her loving late husband Steven Craig Brown on August 6, 2024. Marsha was born in Paris, Texas to Artie Mae LaRue and Thomas Glynn Brothers on September the 11th, 1954. Her family shortly moved to Dallas where she attended school and then to Mesquite where she finished High School. She was a Baptist.
Marsha worked for the aerospace industry all her life retiring in 2016 after 30 years of service with Triumph Aerospace (formerly Vaught Aerospace) in Grand Prairie. She married the late Kenneth Wayne Thorn Sr (1950-1999) on 1 Nov 1973 in Dallas. To that marriage was born Brandy Deann Thorn and Kenneth Wayne Thorn Jr. She married Clifford Lee Krueger on 7 Aug 1983 in Sunnyvale, Texas. She later married the late Steven Craig Brown (1960-2022) on 24 Dec 2009 in Waxahachie.
She was preceded in death by her husband Steven, her parents, her paternal grandparents Martha Jane Maddox and Roy P. Brothers, and her maternal grandparents Ruby Irene Bierbower and Joe Kenneth LaRue
She is survived by her daughter Brandy Deann Thorn of Waxahachie; her son Kenneth Wayne Thorn of Corsicana; her brother Ronald and wife Elishia Brothers of Paris; and brother Randall and wife Debbie Brothers of Wylie; nephews and nieces Cheyenne Dearman of Paris, Kyle Brothers of Dallas, and Brian and wife Angela of Sachse.
She is also survived by five grandchildren: Venus Renae Ferrell and husband John Shaw of Conroe, TX; Cheyenne Kaylee Pense of San Antonio, TX; Christopher Glynn Thorn of Dallas; Tyler Wayne Littlejohn of Oceanside, California and Emily Leeann Littlejohn of Waxahachie; four great grandchildren, Kayden Mitchell Shaw, Eliza Renae Shaw, Ryan Edward Shaw and Eli Jaxon Shaw all of Conroe, Texas.
She is also survived by her step daughter, Melanie Krueger and her two children and a few grand children, great nieces and nephews Cheyenne Dearman of Paris, Devin Martin, Korbin Brothers, Lundin Brothers all of Wylie and Dylan Brothers of Sachse.
Viewing will be on Sunday, August 11, 2024, at 9 a.m. at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 W Highway 287 Bypass, Waxahachie, TX 75165 with the funeral service to follow at 10 a.m. There will be a grave side service and burial at Long Cemetery, CR 44250, Powderly, TX 75473 at approximately 3 p.m.
