Marvin Lynn McClain 12/17/1952 - 12/15/2013 Marvin Lynn McClain, 60, went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2013 and was born in Waxahachie, TX on Dec. 17, 1952 to Joe Edward McClain and Marie Slay McClain. Marvin and Marlene married June 26, 1977 in Waxahachie. Marvin worked for Jerry's Tires for 18 years. Marvin and his son Branden owned and operated a tire and wheel business in Grand Prairie TX. Marvin and his wife Marlene are members of Bible Baptist Church. Preceding him in death include his grandparents, his parents, Joe Edward and Marie McClain, sister Doris Marie Costlow, brothers James Evan "Buddy" McClain, and David Dearl "Dabo" McClain. Survivors include the love of his life, wife Marlene McClain, 2 children, Branden Scott McClain and wife Kerry, McClain, Candi Marie McClain Cryer and husband James Glen Cryer of Waxahaxhie, TX, brothers, Henry McClain Sr and wife Charlene, Herman McClain Sr. and wife Sandra, Joe McClain, Sister Martha Nell Hice and husband J. L. Hice, 4 grandchildren, Derek Wayne Holder, Faith Marie Cryer, Nicole Manske, and Trenton Harlin, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Pallbearers will be Jerry Yarbrough, Russell Lesikar, Mark Allen, Matthew Fry, Robbie Nowlin, Tony Gouge, and honorary pallbearer Derek Wayne Holder. Visitation will be 6:00 -8:00 PM Wednesday and Thursday December 18th and 19th 2013 at Waxahachie Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday December 20, 2013 at Bible Baptist on FM 1446, with interment following at Waxahachie City Cemetery.
