Dorothy Maxine Crump Ireland passed away on October 29, 2011. She was born in Breckenridge, Texas, on February 8, 1924, first child of Rev. Edwin and Inez Crump. She graduated from Wichita Falls High School in 1941. Maxine married Marvin Ireland August 30, 1942. They lived in New Orleans, Pensacola, New York City, Galveston and Wichita Falls. Maxine taught piano and organ lessons, played accordion at Fifth and Broad Assembly and piano and organ at First Assembly. She was the owner of Maxine's Dress Shop on Pasadena. Survivors include husband, Marvin Ireland; sons, Ed Ireland and wife Carolyn of North Richland Hills, Richard Ireland and wife Debbie of Wichita Falls; grandchildren, Jeff Ireland, David Ireland, Brandon Ireland, Amanda Pozun; and three great-grandchildren. One great-granddaughter, Emma Ireland, predeceased her. Visitation at 10 a.m. Thursday, November 3, Hampton Vaughan Chapel with the service at 11 and burial in Crestview.
