Melissa Jean Beck Rehkopf , 48, of Midlothian, Texas, passed away unexpectedly, Friday,  September 24, 2021. She was born on September 17, 1973 to Mardie W. Beck and Debra Jo Smith Soto in Township Mekinock, North Dakota.

She married the love of her life, John Rehfopf  in 1996 in Dallas, Texas. Eventually, they welcomed two sons, Johnathan & Jordan into their hearts and home.

Her love for the Lord, her husband, her sons, and her family were unmatched. Her Life Church family and friends meant the world to her. All of her activities revolved around those groups of people. Her servant's heart and great big smile could change the atmosphere in any  room.

Melissa also had a few other "loves" like,  The Dallas Cowboys, college football and travelling! She loved cheering her teams on to victory as well as seeing all the sites travelling had to offer.

The challenges she faced the last few days of her life are now over, but she leaves behind many who loved her dearly.

Those left behind to honor her memory are her beloved husband of twenty-five years; Rob, her two sons: Johnathan and Jordan, her parents: Debra and Edward Soto, Mardie Beck, her in laws: Nancy and Barry Melniker, Robert and Peggy Rehkepf, Stephanie and Darrell Smith, grandmother; Joyce Jenkins, brother and sister-in-law; Chris and Deidra Beck, nieces: Megan Beck, Maddison McCarson, Annabeth Smith and one nephew; Darrell Smith, an aunt and uncle; Donna and James Wilkerson, cousins: Russell and Tiffany Wilkerson and Kelli Wilkerson.

She will be missed greatly by all who had the honor of knowing and calling her friend.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening, October 7, from 6:00-8:00 o'clock in the evening at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 West HWY 287 By-Pass, Waxahachie, Texas.

Funeral service will be held Saturday morning, October 9, at 11:00 o'clock in the morning at Life Church 620 N Hwy 67, Midlothian, Texas.
