Michael Daniels, 77, was born in Downingtown, PA on July 8, 1934. He served his country in the US Army. Michael loved the outdoors. He enjoyed camping, fishing and playing golf. He relaxed by reading his favorite books. Michael loved old cars and going to car shows. Michael is preceded in death by his parents, sons Vincent Daniels and Johnnie Byrd. He is survived by his wife, Jane Daniels, daughters Gaylan Prator and Martha Childers, sons Wayne Byrd and Sam Byrd. Michael was "Papa Mike" to 15 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Waxahachie Funeral Home, 1201 W. 287 Bypass, Waxahachie, TX. Services will follow visitation at 11:30 AM. Interment will be at 1:45 PM at the DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
