Monte Lynn Walker; a beloved husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away at the age of 88 on September 22, 2024. Monte was born November 20, 1935 to James Henry and Mattie Jan Walker in Nocona, Texas. He married his lovely wife; Mary Elizabeth Salmon on February 16, 1958 and they had two sons; Hoben and John. His hobbies were playing golf and square dancing. He loved his family beyond measure and his family loved him the same. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Monte is survived by his wife Elizabeth, brother; Robert Williams and wife Catherine of Arizona, son; John and wife Gladys of Midlothian Texas, and daughter-in-law; Sherry Walker of Red Oak Texas. Grandchildren; Jami Walker and Brandon Boling of Palmer Texas, Kyle Walker and wife Voule of Cleburne, Texas, and Zachary Walker and wife Haley of Cleburne, Texas. Five great grand- children; Zoee, Kodi, John, Kinsli and Krosbi.

Monte was preceded in death by his, parents; Jim and Mattie, stepmother; Lucille
Walker; brother and sister-in-law; Kenneth and Jane Walker and son; Hoben
Walker.
