Paschall

Dr. Morris J. Paschall, 76, passed away on August 29, 2016 in Waxahachie, Texas. He was born on August 13, 1940 in Warren, AR to Morris D. Paschall and Vera White Paschall.
He graduated from Southwestern Assembly of God College, Waxahachie in 1961 and received his Doctorate of Education at the University of North Texas. From 1965 - 1980 he was a Professor, basketball coach, and Dean of Students from 1970 - 1980. He was a Vice President at Southwestern A/G College from 1974-1980. He was also Dean of Students at Brazosport College from 1980-2005.
He was the Voice of an Angel soloist for many community events, churches and weddings and also a published author for newspapers and the book, "Whispering Pines".
He married Earline Ashby Paschall on September 21, 1984, in Lake Jackson, Texas. He enjoyed ping pong, singing, painting, running, golfing, and walking. But his greatest pleasure was spending time with his children, grandchildren and beautiful wife, Earline.
He is preceded in death by his father, Morris D. Paschall, mother Vera White Paschall, sister Imogene Simpson, brother Joseph "Jo Don" Paschall, and sister Mina Carlisle.
He is survived by his loving wife Earline Paschall of 31 years, five sons, Kirk (Susan) Paschall, Kip (Theresa) Paschall, Kreyton (Janice) Paschall, Charles (Cheryl) Johnston, Dan (Vicki) Johnston, one daughter Jan (Jon) Florence, one sister, Charlotte Anderson and grandchildren Caitlin Paschall, Leyton Paschall, Gabriel Paschall, Lauren Paschall, Grace Paschall, Dakota Paschall, Tristan Paschall, Autry Paschall, Audrey St. Germain, Charles Johnston, Caitlin Heaton, Charla Brown, Julie McPhail, Jillian Rampy and Chad Johnston and twelve great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on September 2, from 6-8 p.m. at Waxahachie Funeral Home Chapel with memorial services at First Baptist Church in Waxahachie on September 3, at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Waxahachie Funeral Home.
