Nellie Davis, 81, went to be with the Lord at home surrounded by her family. She was born in Woodville, Texas May 23, 1935 to Elvin and Vera Coplen.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years Joe T. Davis.

Nellie is survived by her daughters Carion Taylor, Virginia Gwin, son Ronald and wife Jennifer Davis, sisters Lavern Hill, Kathy Justice, Virginia Patterson, Sharon Baldwin, brother Archie Coplen, grandchildren Monica & Cody Derrick, Jennifer & Ronnie Bannert, Matthew & Brandy Taylor, Jeremy & Amy Taylor, Lindsay & Gary Willenborg and Heather & Brian Rose. 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-8: PM, Tuesday November 29, 2016, Funeral service Wednesday November 30, 2016 11 AM both at Waxahachie Funeral Home.
